2025-26 CBSE Class 10th Science Sample Paper Available for Download (Both English and Hindi Versions)
CBSE Class 10 Science Sample Paper 2025-26 Released
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made available the CBSE Class 10 Science Sample Paper 2025-26 for the academic session. This comprehensive sample paper is applicable for Half-Yearly, Pre-Board, and Board Exams.
The paper is divided into five sections, each focusing on different aspects of Science:
- Section A (20 marks): This section consists of 16 Multiple Choice Questions and 4 Assertion-Reasoning questions. The questions range from identifying the correct combination of function and part of the brain, to identifying the products formed after the breakdown of glucose in our muscle cells when there is a lack of oxygen.
- Section B (12 marks): This section includes 6 Short Answer questions, testing students' understanding of various Science concepts.
- Section C (21 marks): This section comprises 7 Short Answer questions, each carrying 3 marks. These questions require a more detailed response than those in Section B.
- Section D (15 marks): This section contains 3 Long Answer questions, each worth 5 marks. These questions aim to test students' ability to explain complex Science phenomena.
- Section E (12 marks): This section includes 3 Case/Source-based questions, each worth 4 marks. These questions test students' ability to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
The total marks for the Science question paper are 80. The sample paper is available in both English and Hindi mediums for selected subjects. It comes with a detailed marking scheme outlining step-wise mark allocation and suggested answers to guide students in exam preparation.
