44 Diplom-Finanzwirte Graduate from Norddeutsche Akademie
The Norddeutsche Academy for Finance and Tax Law celebrated the graduation of 44 Diplom-Finanzwirte on September 30, 2025. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the dual study program, which combines theoretical learning and practical experience in Bremen and Bremerhaven finance offices.
The graduates, comprising 41 women and 3 men, demonstrated their professional competence by processing tax declarations independently during their first double cohort in 2022. The program, designed to prepare students for careers in finance and tax administration, began with 66 individuals.
Finance Senator Björn Fecker lauded the graduates' commitment and responsibility. He expressed that each graduate represents a significant addition to the tax administration. Many of the graduates will reinforce the Bremen tax administration, with roles in tax audits and criminal investigations. Notably, two graduates will join the Federal Central Tax Office.
The dual study program for Diplom-Finanzwirte has proven successful, with the first cohort demonstrating professional competence and the graduates securing prominent roles in tax administration. The Norddeutsche Academy for Finance and Tax Law and the finance offices in Bremen and Bremerhaven can take pride in their contributions to the development of these finance professionals.
