Afternoon roll-out of the youth job fair in Upper Pysma

In the heart of the Ural region, the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma saw a wave of youthful energy this summer as 699 teenagers took part in a summer employment program. The initiative, aimed at providing opportunities for local young people, saw these teenagers working tirelessly for a month, contributing to the betterment of their community.

During two separate shifts, 194 and 280 teenagers were employed, each making a significant impact in Verkhnyaya Pyshma and the surrounding villages of Kedrovoe, Krasnye, Baltym, and Iset'. The work, remunerated according to the federal minimum wage with an additional Ural coefficient, was focused on courtyard improvement, planting flower seedlings, cleaning children's playgrounds and sports facilities, and parks.

The program was not just about hard work, but also about fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition. The teenagers participated in a series of Spartakiads, showcasing their skills in relay races, long jumps, flexibility, and push-ups. These events served as a celebration of their achievements and a testament to their dedication.

The closing ceremony of each shift was a highlight, with the leaders of the second shift being celebrated in "Manin Park". Apart from the awards ceremony, the teenagers enjoyed games, theatrical performances, and even took part in a flash mob dedicated to Russia Day.

Throughout the shifts, the teenagers were supported by a team of teachers, psychologists, youth specialists, and team leaders. The work was also coordinated with Rospotrebnadzor to ensure safety and adherence to regulations.

While specific details, objectives, and impacts of the program may not be widely available in public sources, interested individuals are encouraged to check official Verkhnyaya Pyshma municipal websites, local government publications, or community youth services for up-to-date and detailed information.

This summer employment program not only provided teenagers with valuable work experience but also instilled a sense of pride and responsibility in giving back to their communities. The initiative serves as a shining example of youth empowerment and community development in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

In the spirit of community development, the participants of the summer employment program expanded their horizons beyond work, engaging in home-and-garden activities such as courtyard improvement and planting flower seedlings. Additionally, the program encouraged the teenagers to pursue their educational and self-development through Spartakiads, showcasing their skills in various physical activities and, more importantly, fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition.
