AI-Integrated Learning Platform, EduBot Nigeria, Introduced by A+ Computer Training for AI-Driven Education in Native Languages
Introducing EduBot Nigeria: Revolutionizing Education in Rural Communities
A+ Computer Training Technology Limited (A+ CTT) has launched EduBot Nigeria, an AI-powered educational chatbot designed to revolutionize learning in rural and underserved communities across Nigeria. The chatbot aims to make complex subjects like physics and chemistry more accessible by teaching them in native languages such as Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo.
EduBot Nigeria is more than just a chatbot; it's a movement empowering learning nationwide. It's a tool designed to support learners, teachers, and facilitators by improving digital inclusion and helping bridge educational gaps in marginalized communities.
One of the key features of EduBot Nigeria is its multilingual support. It provides lessons and interactive learning in major Nigerian indigenous languages, making education more accessible and culturally relevant. The platform operates without constant internet access, a crucial feature for rural areas with poor connectivity. It offers curriculum-based educational content at any time, facilitating flexible learning opportunities.
The chatbot integrates the official syllabuses of the Federal Ministry of Education into Nigeria's three major languages: Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo, as well as five structured Plateau State languages: Birom, Ngas, Mwaghavul, Tarok, and Gmai. Local language custodians are directly involved in translating and validating educational content for EduBot Nigeria, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.
The launch event for EduBot Nigeria was held at the company's MSME Hub at Hill Station Roundabout in Jos. The event brought together officials from the Federal and Plateau State Ministries of Education, technology stakeholders, community leaders, and media representatives. The project aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Nigeria's National Digital Economy Policy, promoting digital inclusion and preserving indigenous languages.
A+ CTT plans to gradually expand EduBot's language coverage to all 774 local government areas in Nigeria, ensuring that more communities can benefit from AI-powered, culturally relevant education. The platform is accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), ensuring its quality and reliability.
The target audience for EduBot Nigeria includes women, youth, and out-of-school children who face barriers to education access. Registrar Professor Buba Audu confirmed that the chatbot is ready for deployment following successful prototyping. He called on the government and private sector to partner in scaling the innovation nationwide.

It's a significant step towards promoting digital inclusion and ensuring marginalized learners receive continuous and culturally contextualized education where traditional schooling may be limited.
