AI Showcase: AFAC Finale at 2025 Inclusion·Conference

The AFAC Financial Intelligence Competition, now in its third year, is set to culminate in the 2025 Inclusion·Conference on the Bund in Shanghai. This global event, co-organized with top universities, invites university students and researchers to tackle real-world financial challenges using AI. The finale, to be held without the name of the university founder or team leader, promises to showcase innovative solutions with potential real-world deployment.

The competition offers two tracks: Developer Track and Startup Track. The Developer Track focuses on themes such as forecasting subscription and redemption cycles, cross-validating insurance policies, optimizing long-chain reasoning in financial decision-making, and generating multimodal financial reports with AI agents. Meanwhile, the Startup Track encourages solutions that enhance productivity in financial services, promote inclusive finance, advance financial data utilization, and support elderly financial services. Finalists will present their solutions, including demos and commercialization plans for the Startup Track, to an international audience.

AFAC presents curated problem sets sourced directly from corporate pain points, providing participants with a unique opportunity to develop AI-driven solutions that address actual industry challenges. Winners may have the chance to test their algorithms with the original challenge setters, potentially leading to real-world deployment. The competition aims to foster international collaboration, experimentation, and career-building in the digital finance market.

The AFAC Financial Intelligence Competition finale, to be held at the 2025 Inclusion·Conference, promises to be an exciting event showcasing the power of AI in transforming the finance industry. Without the name of the university founder or team leader, the spotlight will be on the innovative solutions developed by participants, offering a glimpse into the future of digital finance.
