Let's dive into the lively occasion of the Pearls of Islam (POI) Annual Day Celebration in Salmiya, Kuwait, where the IMA Ladies Wing (IMA-LW) pulled off an inspiring get-together that united young girls, educators, and community peeps! This gathering, dedicated to boosting knowledge, character, and faith, welcomed the notable appearance of Ms. Amina Tamimi - a renowned figure from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs (Daiya) - as the keynote speaker.

Ms. Tamimi dropped some serious wisdom, emphasizing the true essence of beauty as a fusion of brains, swagger, and a rock-solid character. Her words targeted the young girls in attendance, urging them to focus on cultivating their inner selves, and enlightening them on how gaining true beauty is tightly tied to acquiring knowledge and building a strong, confident character.

Her goal? To motivate the girls to aim for greatness in both their personal lives and studies. The event was jazzed up by an enchanting Nasheed performance by the young POI students, followed by a speech on Waqf, delivered by Mariyam Afroz - an IMA Ladies Wing member.

Mariyam elucidated the importance of Waqf in Islam and its significance for the Muslim community. She also shed light on the Waqf Amendment 2025 and its consequences for both Muslim and Indian societies. Her speech ignited awareness about the urgency of gripping the Waqf system and taking part in actively promoting this essential act.

To go along with the speeches, the event included a thrilling quiz session, causing a buzz and excitement among the spectators, adding an interactive twist to the program. Prizes, including rewards and consolation prizes, were dished out to the participants, which included both teachers and students from the IMA POI crew.

The program concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed to all the teachers, students, and volunteers who slid in countless hours of hard work behind-the-scenes to make the event a success. Cheers were sent out to all participants and the IMA POI team for their commitment and diligence.

A special prayer was cast, asking Allah جل جلاله to acknowledge their efforts, guide them towards continued success, and keep them grounded as they work towards their goals with sincerity and excellence. Aameen.
