Astonishing Rise in Comfortable Schools in Astana Reaches 24 - Genis Kasymbek

The city of Astana, Kazakhstan, is making significant strides in the construction of social facilities, with a particular focus on educational institutions. This was announced by local news outlet Vechernyaya Astana.

The ongoing construction of new schools forms part of this focus, with the aim of providing quality education to all students, regardless of their location within the city. The construction of comfortable schools is happening in all districts of Astana.

A total of 24 schools are being built, with a combined capacity for 66,000 students across two shifts. Seven of these schools will be part of the national project "Comfortable School".

Akim of Astana, Jenis Kasymbek, announced plans for these new schools on his Instagram account, and Akim of Astana, Roman Sklyar (First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan), and Ganymbek Beisembayev recently inspected the construction progress of these comfortable schools.

The construction of these new schools will provide places for students in 4 schools with overcrowding issues and 7 overcrowded schools. Last academic year, 15 new schools were commissioned in Astana.

This academic year, an additional 15 new schools will be opened, with a combined capacity for 28,000 students across two shifts. The construction of kindergartens, school palaces, and other social facilities continues in the city of Astana.

The "Comfortable School" national project in Astana aims to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children by improving school infrastructure and eliminating education gaps between rural and urban areas. The project involves constructing new schools, renovating existing ones, and modernizing material and technical resources such as libraries, gyms, and canteens.

In addition to physical infrastructure improvements, the project introduces new quality standards, AI integration, and new educational programs to ensure the modernization of schools and enhance educational quality nationwide, including the capital Astana.

This comprehensive approach aims to create safe, modern, and inclusive learning environments, significantly mitigating issues related to overcrowded schools. Of the 24 schools, 16 are classified as comfortable schools.

The "Comfortable School" project is a significant step towards providing quality education to all children in Astana, ensuring they have the best possible start in life.

Educational institutions, particularly the construction of schools, are a key emphasis in Astana's development of social facilities, with a goal to provide quality education for all students, regardless of location. This mission is part of the national project "Comfortable School," which seeks to ensure equal opportunities for all children by improving school infrastructure and fostering educational progress through modernization initiatives and innovative programs.
