ByBit & Tether Launch Scholarship Initiative in South Africa
ByBit, in collaboration with Tether, has launched a scholarship initiative in Africa, aiming to empower and support academically outstanding students. The ByBit × Tether Scholarship, a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, seeks to bridge educational access gaps and foster a stronger, more inclusive blockchain ecosystem in the southwest of the continent.
The scholarship, open to current students at accredited African universities, offers prizes ranging from $100 to $3,000, with the grand winner receiving the latter amount. Selection criteria include creativity, authenticity, clarity of vision, presentation quality, and video engagement. Applicants are required to submit original videos following specific guidelines.
ByBit, through its juristic representative Altify SA Capital (Pty) Ltd, an authorised financial services provider, aims to encourage participation in STEM, business, and crypto-/blockchain-related fields. The scholarship period runs from 2nd October, 2025 to 7th November, 2025.
