Summer Reading Club Kicks Off at City Library
The City Library has announced the start of its Summer Reading Club, a series of engaging meetings designed for children and young people between the ages of six and 15. Each Tuesday morning, from 10 to 11:30 am, participants can gather at the library on Weilerstraße Street to enjoy a variety of book-themed activities.
The first meeting, taking place on August 5th, will focus on "Bedazzling Books". Children and young people are invited to transform their favourite books into unique pieces using glitter, beads, and other materials provided.
On August 12th, the theme is "Book Rally - Puzzle Fun with Records". Participants will be challenged to find all the clues and crack the solution word in a self-programmed digital puzzle game.
The Summer Reading Club meetings continue with the August 19th meeting, which will delve into "The World of Comics". On this day, participants will have the opportunity to turn a favourite book scene into a small comic.
The August 26th meeting will be all about "The School of Magical Creatures". This meeting will include games from the book series, and everyone will design their own magical creature friend.
Unfortunately, the themes for the meetings in August and September, excluding the 2nd, have not been provided.
The September 2nd meeting will be particularly exciting, as it will feature activities related to "The School of Magical Creatures". Participants can look forward to designing their own magical creature friend and participating in games from the book series.
