Dubai Crown Prince Signs MoUs with Top Universities to Boost Leadership Research
In a significant move, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince, oversaw the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) and five renowned international universities. The ceremony took place during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, attended by over a thousand government and private sector leaders.
Saeed Al Eter, Director-General of The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, inked the agreements with senior representatives from each partner university. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of MBRCLD, expressed that this initiative will showcase Dubai's success story as a global reference in leadership and enrich academic experiences by inspiring future leaders.
The MoUs established the 'Dubai Leadership Research' initiative and an advanced leadership programme inspired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision. The research, to be featured in the Harvard Business Review, will reach millions of readers worldwide, extending its impact. It will also be integrated into MBA and executive education programmes, reaching students and business leaders across over 90 countries through The Case Centre.
By linking Dubai's leadership journey with prestigious institutions, this initiative reinforces Dubai's position as a hub for knowledge, innovation, and leadership development. The partnerships aim to document Sheikh Mohammed's leadership philosophy, highlighting innovation, bold decision-making, and people-focused governance.
