In this image there is a conference in which there are people sitting in chair and listening to the people who are on the stage. It seems like an event in which there is a conversation between the media people and the owners. At the background there is a big hoarding and the wall beside it.

Dubai Press Club Inks Major Deals to Boost Podcasting Scene

Dubai Press Club (DPC) has inked significant deals with TikTok, MediaCast, and Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) to bolster the region's podcasting scene. The agreements, signed at Dubai PodFest 2025, aim to empower audio content creators and promote innovative content production. Under these agreements, Al Bayan newspaper will provide comprehensive production support for podcasts through the Arab Podcast Program, as per the DMI deal. Media personalities such as Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council and President of DPC, and Maryam Al Mulla, Director of DPC, hailed these collaborations as a strategic move to enhance Arab content and digital media leadership. MediaCast will offer studio access, technical support, and specialised training to participants in the podcasting program. Meanwhile, TikTok's partnership introduces a digital and media literacy programme, focusing on online safety and combating misinformation. These initiatives align with Dubai's vision to advance media innovation and empower Arab podcasters, as highlighted by Her Excellency Mona Al Marri. The agreements, formalised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, mark a significant step in Dubai's quest to maintain its leadership in global digital content creation. They are expected to expand digital culture and promote innovative content production, ultimately boosting the region's podcasting industry.
