Witness History: A Virtual Journey Through National Socialism - Germany Tour Kicks Off

Exploring Real-Life Witnesses Virtually - German Virtual Reality Tour Commences - Experience virtual reality firsthand with fellow history enthusiasts - German tour kick-starts

Get a firsthand account of National Socialism history: Now possible with the mobile exhibition "In Reality?" from Brandenburg, currently touring Germany. This exhibition brings Jewish eyewitnesses into the spotlight, allowing virtual encounters thanks to the announcement by the Brandenburg Cultural and History Society. The tour begins at the Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam and continues until May 11th.

The exhibit travels via a truck to various locations. Don a VR headset, and interact with five Jewish eyewitnesses like the 96-year-old Ruth Winkelmann, who shares personal tales from the NS era.

"In a present where extremism and attacks on human dignity have grown more common, rampant, and brutal, it's crucial to safeguard memories," said Michel Friedman, a publicist and tour patron.

Following Potsdam, the mobile exhibition visits Halle (Saale) (May 13th–16th), Zwickau (May 19th–23rd), Erfurt (May 26th–30th), and Schwerin (June 2nd–6th). Western federal states have planned more stops for the fall. Access is complimentary.
