"Former Classmates Reunite after Half a Century: No Remnants of Past Bullying Encounters"
In the picturesque town of Boitzenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a group of former students gathered for a special reunion. These alumni, born in the years 1958 and 1959, completed their schooling at the Puschkin Secondary School Boitzenburg fifty years ago, in 1975.
The day began with a visit to the old school in Boitzenburg, where they shared memories and reminisced about their time there. The students had started their educational journey in small village schools such as Berkholz, Hardenbeck, Klaushagen, Wichmannsdorf, and Boitzenburg before attending POS Boitzenburg. However, the exact schools they attended before transferring to POS Boitzenburg remain unclear due to limited available information.
After refreshing their memories at the old school, the group moved to a recording studio on Templiner Street for coffee and cake. The reunion continued later at the local Marstall, where they enjoyed each other's company well into the night.
This was the fifth retirement class reunion for the group, and it was also their 'Golden' reunion, ten years after their last reunion. The students were taught together at POS Boitzenburg from September 1, 1969, and despite leaving for vocational training or the Extended Secondary School after the 8th grade, those who left were included in the class reunions and usually attended.
Bullying wasn't a thing among them during their school years, and Martina Schulze explained that they have always gotten along well and never really lost touch. The group looked forward to the rest of their golden reunion, filled with laughter, shared stories, and cherished memories.
The reunion marked a significant milestone for the class of 1958/59, reminding them of the strong bonds they formed during their school days. As they continue to celebrate their shared history, it's clear that the friendships forged in those classrooms have stood the test of time.
