Coco Gauff's win at the French Open has got the ball rollin' in a big way! Not only is she rockin' her place among tennis elites, but her victory also serves as a beacon for Black America and minority communities. Can I get a "hell yeah"?

Gauff took on the world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, in grueling conditions, but came out on top with a 6:7 (5:7), 6:2, 6:4 win — making her the first American singles champion in a decade at Roland Garros! Cue the cheers from former U.S. Prez, Barack Obama, who congratulated her on the X platform, praising her win.

When she wasn't basking in the glory of her victory, Gauff didn't forget to think about the struggles of those battling Trump's admin. "It means a lot to be a symbol for folks who look like me and who might not be feeling too supported right now," the 21-year-old powerhouse shared. "Giving them a bit of hope and light feels real good."

Gauff is a standout player on and off the court, embodying more than just the current world number two. She's a role model for a whole generation reeling with right-wing shifts and minority exclusion, both in the U.S. and beyond. Now, that's what I call an ace!

Three years ago, she was defeated by Poland's Iga Swiatek in the Paris final and broke down in tears on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Fast forward to today, and tears once again flowed as Gauff fell onto her back after her winning match point and formed a heart with her hands towards her supporters in the stands.

Touching on her emotions after receiving the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen from former French Open winner Justine Henin, Gauff said, "First, I want to thank God. I had to go through a lot since my loss three years ago, I had self-doubt. I'm just happy to be here."

Whether it's breaking barriers, representing diverse sports, or inspiring conversations about diversity and inclusion, Coco Gauff's French Open win is a rally cry for change. And as she continues to own the tennis court and champion for inclusivity, we can't wait to see what she serves up next!
