Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Celebrates Graduation of Nine Vocational Certificate Students

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College (Blue Ridge CTC) recently held a graduation ceremony to celebrate nine students who completed various vocational certificate programmes. The one-year certificate programs, which consist of approximately 30 credit hours, provide specialized, industry-recognized training with flexible, instructor-led classes.

The graduates include Melissa Antonowich, who completed the Digital Arts Professional Certificate; Sadie Rabago, who earned the Marketing Design Professional Certificate; Katerina Tsantili, who achieved the Graphic Design Advanced Certificate; Jerald Troutman, who completed the Multimedia Arts Professional Certificate; Danielle Ford, who also graduated with the Digital Arts Professional Certificate; Berlyn Holman, who earned the Graphic Design Professional Certificate; Ying Liu, who completed the Multimedia Arts Professional Certificate; Ekaterina Isaac, who finished the Fine Arts Certificate; and Jeanne Gonzalez and Hunter Richling, both of whom completed the Digital Arts Professional Certificate.

C.S. Lewis's quote, "There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind," was shared during the ceremony, wishing the graduates success in their careers in the creative industry. The graduates were also warmly congratulated for their achievements.

The admission process for Blue Ridge CTC's vocational certificate programs requires students who have earned a GED or high school diploma to apply as degree or certificate seeking students by completing an online application. They must submit a government-issued ID and provide official high school transcripts, TASC Assessment, or GED scores for admission. If students have previously earned a degree or 15+ college credits, the high school transcript requirement may be waived by submitting official college transcripts. All transcripts are sent to the Admissions Office at Blue Ridge CTC, either by mail or electronically. Additional documents may be required for financial aid or other administrative purposes.

This process is designed to prepare students for prompt enrollment into vocational certificate programs that align with career advancement goals. For more exact program options, contacting the institution’s admissions or career services directly would be advisable.

The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for these students, who are now equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen careers within the creative industry. Congratulations to the graduates on their achievements, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.

The graduating student, Katerina Tsantili, achieved the Graphic Design Advanced Certificate, which aligns with education-and-self-development and career-development opportunities in the creative industry. To extend their skills further, students may consider contacting Blue Ridge CTC's admissions or career services for more program options.
