Heidelberg University Welcomes 30 New Apprentices for 2025-2026

The University of Heidelberg, known as Ruperto Carola, has welcomed 30 new apprentices for the 2025-2026 academic year. The orientation day, attended by Chancellor Jens Andreas Meinen and dual study students, aimed to showcase the significance of apprentices in the University's operations and research.

The University offers training in eight different professions, including gardening, electronics, office management, and dual study programs in business administration, informatics, and electrical engineering. Around 80 young people are currently in training, with an additional 11 DHBW students set to join in October. The University Computing Center's training is particularly sought after due to its diverse topics.

The orientation day provided an opportunity for apprentices to meet the team leader of personnel development, although their name was not mentioned in the available search results. The event also introduced apprentices to various services and support systems, highlighting their role in the University's success.

The University of Heidelberg continues to invest in its future by providing diverse training opportunities. With 30 new apprentices joining this year, the University reaffirms its commitment to nurturing talent and ensuring its operations run smoothly.
