Indian organization AAFM inks two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) within two consecutive days, one with Jain University and the other with Acharya Bangalore Business School.

In a significant move to bolster India's Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, the American Academy of Financial Management® India (AAFM® India) has signed strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with ABBS College and Jain University.

These collaborations aim to integrate globally benchmarked financial certification programs into academic learning, addressing the pressing need for job-ready professionals with practical, globally aligned financial expertise.

The partnership between AAFM® India and these academic institutions reinforces a shared mission to transform India's talent pool and elevate the standards of financial education.

One of the biggest challenges facing the BFSI industry is the lack of job-ready professionals with practical, globally aligned financial expertise. These collaborations seek to address this issue by offering courses like the Chartered Wealth Manager® (CWM®) program by AAFM India, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and specialized banking and wealth management courses preparing candidates for NISM certifications.

The CWM® program, offered in collaboration with universities like Jain University and Acharya Bangalore Business School, is designed to improve employability by training candidates in advanced financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, and economic analysis. Recognized by banks, NBFCs, asset management companies, fintech firms, family offices, and global capability centers, the CWM® program specifically targets the shortage of job-ready professionals in BFSI, supporting the sector's rapid growth with over 2.5 million new job openings expected by 2030.

The CFA, an internationally respected course focused on investment management, portfolio analysis, and equity research, demands rigorous exams at three levels and is ideal for a global career in finance with deep expertise in investment analysis.

The Banking and Wealth Management Course, such as the NISM V-A Certification Preparation, is a blended learning program designed to train relationship managers and advisors in banking and wealth management. It includes real-life case studies, assignments, and role plays targeting both rural and urban learners, preparing candidates for practical sales, finance, loaning, and investment advisory roles. The course supports the Indian banking sector’s need to hire 50,000+ relationship managers annually and addresses job creation projections of 1.6 million by 2030.

Financial Literacy and Strategic Wealth-Building Courses offer foundational to intermediate level training in taxation, investment options (crypto, mutual funds, insurance), and modern wealth strategies. These courses focus on practical financial decision-making and emerging asset classes, making them useful for entrepreneurs and professionals enhancing personal or client wealth management skills.

By incorporating these industry-relevant programs, Jain University and ABBS College aim to ensure that their students are not only academically strong but also professionally certified and industry-ready. Dr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Registrar of Jain University, commented that this partnership reflects their commitment to practical, career-oriented education.

Mr. Vyas Rai Nagpal, Co-Founder & Director of AAFM® India, stated that certifications like CWM® are essential for the changing financial services landscape. He emphasized the need for professionals who have knowledge about various asset classes and risk appetite of clients.
