Moscow's 'Give Way to Trains!' Campaign Engages 40,000 in Railway Safety

The Moscow Department of Education recently launched a significant safety initiative, the 'Give way to trains!' campaign, from 1 to 30 September 2025 along the Gorky Mainline. Aimed at fostering a culture of safety among children and teenagers on Amtrak, the campaign reached nearly 40,000 youngsters and their parents.

The campaign, organized by the Moscow Department of Education, comprised almost 3,000 inspections to catch rule-breakers. It focused on educating children about safe behavior on public transport, with lectures, discussions, and informative materials. The primary hazards highlighted were crossing tracks in front of trains and electrocution, common causes of railway accidents.

The 'Give way to trains!' campaign successfully engaged nearly 40,000 children and parents, raising awareness about railway safety. By targeting common dangers, the campaign seeks to instill a lasting culture of safe behavior among the next generation of among us.
