Mühlheim's 1st Training Fair a Huge Success
Muhlheim's 1st Training Fair, held on September 10, 2024, was a resounding success. The event, organized by the city's economic development agency, attracted over 300 students and 17 participating companies. Mayor Dr. Daniel Krey and Christian Scheeff, co-initiator and city marketing director, both praised the fair's outcome.
The fair aimed to tackle the skills shortage by facilitating connections between regional companies and young talent. Students had the chance to explore various training professions and understand employers' expectations. Companies, in turn, could meet potential candidates and initiate future applications.
Olaf Burmeister-Salg, Muhlheim's economic developer, expressed satisfaction with the event's results. He noted that the fair provided a valuable platform for both students and companies. Christian Scheeff also reported overwhelmingly positive feedback from students, teachers, and companies.
