Candidates are required to register, pay the counselling fee, and fill in their preferred colleges before the deadline.

To start the process, candidates should visit the official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website, [mcc.nic.in](http://mcc.nic.in). Upon arrival, click on the 'UG Medical Counselling' tab and select 'New Registration' under NEET UG 2025.

The registration process involves entering mandatory details, such as the NEET UG roll number, parent's name, date of birth, and the security code. Candidates will then set a password and receive their credentials via email. They must complete the registration form by filling in personal, educational details, NEET 2025 result details, and uploading scanned photographs and signatures. The registration fee, as per the candidate's category, should be paid at this stage.

The registration window for Round 1 is from July 21 to July 26, 2025. Candidates are advised to complete the process before the deadline to avoid any last-minute rush.

Choice filling and locking are crucial steps in the counselling process. Candidates must fill their choices of colleges and courses online and lock them by 4 PM on July 28, 2025. Locked choices will be used for seat allotment based on merit and preferences.
