New Platform QOSYMSHA.KZ Streamlines Funds for Children's Education in Kazakhstan
A new digital platform, QOSYMSHA.KZ, has been launched in Astana to streamline the process of allocating funds for children's supplementary education. The system, a joint effort by the Department of Education and local authorities, prioritizes children with special needs, orphans, and those from families with disabilities or receiving targeted social assistance.
The platform unifies all processes, from application submission to attendance tracking, in a single digital window. It is hosted on the secure E-ORDA IT infrastructure, ensuring transparency and preventing third-party interference.
Initially launched as a pilot project in Astana, the system allows parents to choose a suitable section for their child based on interests and schedule, as the voucher is no longer tied to a specific club. The system uses social categorization to prioritize children based on their needs, with 12 different priority coefficients.
By 2025, the program aims to cover over 500,000 children nationwide, including over 25,000 in Astana. The initiative seeks to ensure equal access for schoolchildren to clubs, sections, and creative studios through state funding.
The new digital platform QOSYMSHA.KZ is set to transform the way children's supplementary education is funded in Kazakhstan. With a focus on equal access and prioritizing those in need, the system is expected to benefit over half a million children by 2025.
