Nono Project Expands: Polish DVD Edition Boosts European Integration

The Nono project, a European initiative for integration, has seen a significant development with the creation of a Polish-language DVD edition. The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung, a German foundation, supports the project and was involved in the Polish DVD's production. The edition, 'Luigi Nono - Il Canto Sospeso', was created in 2016 with the help of students from Świebodzin's 2nd General Education Lyceum.

The Nono project, developed in cooperation with the late Maestro Claudio Abbado and under the patronage of the German Foreign Minister, aims to foster European integration. The project was first presented on May 23, 2017, in Świebodzin and Swidnica, with an opening ceremony that highlighted the project's relevance to today's youth.

The Polish DVD edition allows schools across Poland to participate in the project using a Polish-language version of 'Il Canto Sospeso'. The Consul from the Breslau Consulate General, Frau Marion Ramackers, attended the presentation on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office, demonstrating the project's importance in German-Polish cooperation.

The Nono project continues to expand its reach, now offering a Polish-language DVD edition for schools in Poland. This development is a testament to the project's commitment to fostering European integration and understanding among youth. With the support of the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung and the involvement of the Federal Foreign Office, the project's impact is set to grow.
