Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Candidates must be between 20 to 28 years of age as of 01.08.2025. Relaxations in age are available for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, and PwD categories.
- Education: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
- Computer Literacy: Candidates must be computer literate, having studied computer operations or IT at school/college level.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must have proficiency in the local language of the applied State/UT or qualify a local language proficiency test post Mains.
Exam Pattern
The IBPS Clerk 2025 exam pattern consists of two stages:
- Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Exam is an objective type test, consisting of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. The test will be divided into three sections: English Language (30 marks, 20 minutes), Numerical Ability (35 marks, 20 minutes), and Reasoning Ability (35 marks, 20 minutes). The Prelims will be held on 4th, 5th, and 11th October.
