The Municipal Adult Education Centre at Leibnizstraße 23 in Magdeburg is inviting the public to an Open Day on August 30, 2025, from 10:00 to 14:00. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the centre, learn about its autumn program, and register for courses and events that commence on September 2.
The Open Day focuses on presenting the autumn program of the adult education centre. Visitors can expect taster courses, interactive activities, culinary surprises, and good conversations. The team of the adult education centre will provide advice on all offers of the autumn program and offer placement tests for language courses.
The event takes place in the heart of Magdeburg, at Leibnizstraße 23. Classrooms, the adult education centre kitchen, and the courtyard area will be open for exploration and getting to know each other. Mini-workshops offered during the Open Day include upcycling, Spanish, herb walks, yoga, building wild bee hotels, smartphone tips, German tests, back training, screen printing, making energy balls, mini city tours in the neighbourhood, and old children's games.
Spontaneous visitors can register for almost 400 courses and events of the new semester. A highlight of the day is the smoothie bike, where visitors can pedal and enjoy the smoothie they've made themselves.
