Park University designates Celeste Lupercio as the new Head of Corporate and Foundation Links
Celeste Lupercio, a seasoned professional with a diverse background in events, marketing, and fundraising, has been appointed as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Park University's Office of University Advancement and Alumni Relations. Her tenure began on April 15, 2024.
Lupercio brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as a consultant for various organisations such as Grow Kansas Films, Levity Events, Heart to Heart International, Guadalupe Centers, and Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS Kansas City Chapter. Notably, she spent nearly a decade with the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in Kansas City, Mo., as the Senior Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events.
In her new position, Lupercio will serve as a bridge between the University and the corporate/foundation community. Her responsibilities include building partnerships through engagement, sponsorship, and funding opportunities. She will work closely with Park's advancement team to build strategic stewardship plans for funders and collaborate with the team to create strategies to advance Park University's mission.
Lupercio's role also involves developing and retaining relationships between Park University and various corporate and foundation funders. She will closely partner with key stakeholders across the University to develop and retain relationships between Park's academic colleges and targeted corporate and foundation funders.
Early in her career, Lupercio held positions with the Unicorn Theatre, Kansas Speedway, and the Missouri Rhythm basketball team. She has also held roles with Visit Kansas City Kansas as Director of Marketing and Community Engagement.
Lupercio's commitment to the community is evident through her involvement as a charter board member of Camp Fire - Heartland. She was also a past member of Park University's Civic Advisory Council.
In her new role, Lupercio will create strategies to advance Park's mission by leveraging funding and engagement opportunities. Her appointment is a significant addition to the University's advancement team, aiming to strengthen Park University's ties with the corporate and foundation community.
