Park University Celebrates Long-Standing Employees and New Additions

Park University, located in Parkville, Missouri, is home to a diverse and dedicated team of staff members who have dedicated their careers to the institution. In a recent celebration, the university honoured 89 employees for their service anniversaries, totalling an impressive 895 years of combined service.

At the heart of Park University is Ben Sayevich, a Professor of Music/Violin with 15 years of service, and Alla Adams, an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration with 5 years of service. Ed James, the Campus Director at the Grand Forks (N.D.) Air Force Base Campus, has served the university for an impressive 25 years. Kena Wolf, the Interim Chief Operating Officer, and Angela Dahlstrom, the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Education and Health Professions, both have 5 years of service under their belts.

The university's faculty and staff also include experienced professionals such as Brad Bunge, a Student Success Coach with 25 years of service, Chris Ellis, a Senior Programmer Analyst with 5 years of service, and Claudia Martinez, the F.E. Warren (Wyo.) Campus Director with 10 years of service. Brock Miller, a Sports Turf Technician, and Allyson Price, an Assistant Registrar, both have 5 years of service at Park University.

June Mohr, the Campus Director at the Columbus (Ohio) Campus, and Joslyn Creighton, the Director of Student Success/Graduate Programs, both have 25 years of service. Lisa Turner-Hernandez, the Director of Admissions/Virtual, and Brad Kleindl, a Professor of Marketing, both have 5 years of service. Nathalie Brech, the Lenexa (Kan.) Campus Director, and Marion Ricono, a Lecturer of Management, both have 5 years of service at the university.

Other notable employees include Jo Lewke, an Academic Evaluator with 20 years of service, Michelle Forrest, the Executive Assistant to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Jutta Pegues, the Director of Adjunct Faculty Coaching and Development, both with 10 years of service. Debra Montoya, a Student Success Coach, and Sam Chamberlin, an Associate Professor of Mathematics, both have 5 years of service at Park University.

Amanda Bryant, the Director of Student Support, Cynthia Tafoya, the Austin (Texas) Campus Director, and Charlie Smith, Associate Professor of Mathematics, all celebrated 5, 10, and 35 years of service respectively on August 21. Brian Hoffman, a Professor of Biology, has 25 years of service at the university.

In addition to these long-standing employees, Park University also welcomed new faces such as Kevin Vicker, the Director of International Education, Luis Zarate, a Campus Safety Officer, and Alma Luna, a Student Success Coach, all with 5 years of service. Nine employees received special recognition for 25-plus years of service.
