Police in Hagen kickstart a new recruitment year, welcoming 279 fresh faces for future law enforcement roles in their training management program.
On Monday, 1st September 2025, a significant event took place in the reception hall in Hohenlimburg. A total of 279 students, including 8 aspiring police commissioner trainees, were present to mark the beginning of a diverse, challenging, but above all, formative chapter of their lives.
The event was the appointment as a police commissioner trainee in Hagen, and it was conducted by Police President Ursula Tomahogh. The students were warmly welcomed with beaming faces and a firm handshake by Police President Tomahogh and the training leadership.
Each student received a certificate after being called onto the stage, symbolising their entry into the three-year study program at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration NRW (HSPV NRW). The study program combines theory, training, and practice, preparing the students for their future tasks in the police force and administration.
Upon successful completion, the police commissioner trainees will be appointed as police commissioners and earn the academic title of Bachelor of Arts. The Hagen Police wishes all students joy and success in their studies.
