Push your limits, students, with far-reaching, extraordinary objectives, suggests Rostislav Goldstein.

Acting Head of the Republic of Komi, Rostislav Goldstein, recently paid a visit to Ukhta, where he met with students from Ukhta State Technical University (USTU). During the exchange, Goldstein discussed the potential for young specialists to be part of his regional team and work for the betterment of the region.

Goldstein revealed that he is currently working on a training program aimed at empowering Komi Republic's youth. Upon its completion, the project will offer graduates opportunities for self-actualization within the authorities. "This will be a substantial initiative for young, active individuals in the republic," Goldstein enthused, inviting students to join the effort.

USTU has long been recognized as one of the foremost multi-profile technical universities in European North Russia. It regularly produces high-class specialists and has partnerships with major oil and gas companies, such as "Lukoil," "Gazprom," and "Transneft." USTU currently educates approximately 6,200 students.

Goldstein emphasized USTU's role in the region, stating that its graduates are always welcomed at local enterprises and are an integral part of the regional management team. Encouraging the students, Goldstein said, "Life can be unpredictable, but if you set ambitious goals and genuinely believe in your cause, you will undoubtedly reach them."

USTU Rector Ruslan Agineyev welcomed the open dialogue and expressed optimism about the potential for joint projects, claiming it would motivate students to materialize their boldest ideas.

Goldstein expressed his desire for USTU graduates to participate in his regional team, as they will be part of an extensive training program aimed at personal growth, education-and-self-development, and career-development, offering opportunities for self-actualization within the authorities of the Komi Republic. With USTU's renowned tradition of producing high-class specialists and its connections with major industries, this collaboration could potentially bring about significant news in the realm of regional development and professional growth for young specialists.
