Regions Development Emphasized Through Discussion on Tourism, Sports, and Conservation at National Kurultai Meeting

LET'S SHED SOME LIGHT ON KAZAKHSTAN'S FUTURE WITH PRESIDENT TOKAYEV'S PLANS!

Hey there! Kazakhstan's leader, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, recently shared some exciting initiatives to kickstart regional development. The focus? Tourism, sports infrastructure, environmental conservation, and much more! Here's the scoop.

Showcasing the Tourism Spectacle

First things first, Tokayev wants Kazakhstan's tourism potential to shine like never before. He's got his eye on both local and international events to boost the tourism scene. Case in point, the Commonwealth Fair in Taraz, gathering artisans and farmers from all over the globe! The idea? Strengthening economic ties, making Taraz a buzzworthy spot, and encouraging tourism.

"Wanna know the secret to the regions' growth? Make 'em tourist hot spots! Events should be the main attraction, funded by sponsors, happening all year round, and promoted like crazy to grab everyone's attention!" Tokayev shared.

Saving Mother Nature, One Step at a Time

Biodiversity protection has become a top priority in Kazakhstan. With its unique wildlife and vast natural resources, things are changing quickly. In 2019, some tough new poaching laws were passed, saving the saiga population. That said, new challenges have emerged – agriculture, epizootic conditions, and more.

"Mother Nature needs a hand! I want the government to dig deep into this situation with experts. We need to make wise decisions," Tokayev said.

Burabai: The Future of Regional Tourism

Hosting the National Kurultai meetings in different regions allows for addressing local challenges and potentials. Burabai, an internationally recognized gem, is ready to grow further. A development plan worth nearly $279.5 million has been adopted, with half of the budget coming from private investments. The challenge? Making sure it's properly executed, focusing on infrastructure, environment, and tourist amenities.

The Unleashing of Nature's Wonders

The construction of the new Congress Center in Burabai, set to become a regional landmark, will enhance tourism and tackle off-season occupancy. Beyond Shchuchinsk-Burabai, areas like Zerendi, Sandytau, and Akkol need attention for sustainable and systematic development.

"Creating a tourist cluster in the region, blending natural wonders, sacred sites, and strict compliance with legal frameworks during land allocations, that's the blueprint for success!" Tokayev explained.

Sports Infrastructure: Ready, Set, GROW!

Tokayev believes in the power of sports. He's pushing for innovative programs offering creative activities and sports for younger generations in various regions. And let's not forget designing sports infrastructure projects all over the country, from swimming pools to football stadiums. The President emphasized the importance of environmental standards and international expectations in these projects.

Expanding Horizons Through International Ties

Tokayev actively promotes strategic partnerships with foreign regions and cities. The focus? Enhancing trade, investment, cultural exchange, and local government cooperation, creating a stable foundation for regional growth.

In the end, Tokayev's initiatives call for a broader, more integrated approach to Kazakhstan's development. From tourism promotion through cultural exchange, environmental conservation, regional development, to sports diplomacy, the goal is to create a social and economic landscape that's stable, vibrant, and shining!

"In the realm of education and self-development, Tokayev plans to incorporate environmental-science learning into schools, focusing on the preservation of Kazakhstan's unique biodiversity and cultivating a new generation of nature conservationists."

"Additionally, Tokayev emphasizes the importance of sports in promoting a healthy lifestyle, advocating for well-designed sports infrastructure in various regions, ensuring adherence to international environmental standards, and fostering sports education programs for the youth."
