The Scientific Center marks its 25th anniversary with a new exhibit, "World of Science," under the slogan "25 Years and Minds Grow Here." This immersive experience aims to inspire and foster scientific understanding across all age groups, reflecting the institution's longstanding commitment to knowledge-sharing and exploration.
"World of Science," currently in its trial phase, showcases modern displays focused on innovation, energy, engineering, and robotics. Notable exhibits include the Kuwait, Earth & Universe, Robosapiens, and Engineering Our World sections. Interactive playgrounds for children are also available, reinforcing the Center's vision of engaging science in accessible, inspiring ways.
Future plans for the Center include the upcoming "Power of Play" facility, scheduled to launch in 2025. The broader mission is to support sustainable development goals by promoting quality education and interactive learning.
During the trial phase, the exhibit welcomes 200 visitors daily, with the official launch to be announced through the Center's social media platforms. Remaining committed to intellectual engagement and nurturing young minds, the Center continues its pioneering journey in science communication and education.
Engineer Musaed Al Yasin, Director General of the Scientific Center, expressed gratitude for 25 years of impact and inspiration. He emphasized the Center's goal for the future: an evolving, innovative environment that captivates visitors of all ages. Dunya Al-Daghish, Director of Education and Programs, highlighted the Center's role in scientific outreach, stressing the importance of a properly guided, enriching experience for visitors.
Sarah Al-Yaqout, Director of Marketing and Communications, noted the public's enthusiastic response during the trial phase and commended the Centre's volunteer program, which has been empowering youth since 2001.With this new chapter, the Scientific Center reaffirms its leading role in science communication and education, celebrating a quarter-century of achievements while embracing a future filled with discovery.
