Digital Competency Courses for Seniors Launch in Wiesbaden
Wiesbaden, Germany – The State Capital Wiesbaden has announced a series of digital competency courses specifically designed for seniors. These courses, held at Zukunftswerk, Kirchgasse 6, on the second floor of Luisenforum, aim to alleviate fears about the digital world and teach practical skills.
The courses, led by experienced instructor Kirsten Kelly, will cover essential topics such as basic computer use, internet navigation, email, social media, smartphone use, and even newer technologies like virtual reality to enhance mobility and cognitive skills. Each course lasts for 90 minutes and takes place from 10 to 11.30 am.
Participants are asked to bring their charged smartphone including SIM card, PIN, and passwords to actively participate in the course. The participation fee for each course is 10 euros per person.
