Sustainability Science Slam Vol. 2: Engaging Research on Microplastics and Climate Protection

On 18 November 2025, the 'SUSTAINABILITY' Science Slam Vol. 2 will take place at the future Pina Bausch Centre in Wuppertal. This event, a collaboration between Bergische Universität Wuppertal, the Pina Bausch Center, and the Wuppertal Institute, aims to explore sustainability research in an engaging way. Young scientists will present their work on topics like microplastics in blood and climate protection, with the audience choosing the best presentation.

The event will delve into research questions related to sustainability. Speakers will explore the impact of industrial policy on microplastics and the appeal of climate protection in municipalities. Each speaker has 10 minutes to present, using visualizations, props, and performance elements to make complex topics accessible and entertaining. The audience will then vote for the best presentation.

The 'SUSTAINABILITY' Science Slam Vol. 2 is free to attend, but registration is required. It will commence at 6 PM on 18 November 2025 at the future Pina Bausch Centre.
