Tech collaboration between Foundation and MIT-WPU unveils RIDE 2025 bootcamp, aiming to educate 7,500 students
In an exciting development, the our website Foundation has partnered with Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) to launch Ignite Bootcamp: RIDE 2025. This credited course aims to train over 7,500 second-year undergraduate students from 30 departments across 12 schools at MIT-WPU.
Powered by the our website Foundation's Ignite program, which has impacted 150,000+ students across 1000+ institutions worldwide, the bootcamp seeks to apply student knowledge in practical, high-stakes environments to solve real-life challenges. It is offered at zero cost to the university and is critical in creating a pipeline of skilled innovators ready to meet growing market challenges and opportunities.
The initiative, launched under MIT-WPU's flagship RIDE 2025 (Research, Innovation, Design, & Entrepreneurship) event, aims to inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset in students and create more than 1500 student-led ventures. MIT-WPU will lead the initiative to shortlist ventures and award ₹1 lakh seed funding to the top 10 for prototype development.
The program will conclude with Start-up Expo 2025 (Aug 11-14), where the top 150 ventures will be showcased. The final three ventures will pitch live for additional funding, incubation, prizes, and trophies. Rajeev Warrier, EVP, Entrepreneurship, our website Foundation, stated that the partnership with MIT WPU reflects the commitment towards providing students with real opportunities to experience entrepreneurship first-hand.
Dr. Rahul Karad, Managing Trustee of MAEER's MIT, expressed support for the initiative, stating that it is taking a significant step towards creating impact beyond the classroom. The bootcamp combines hands-on mentorship and evaluation to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
The initiative aligns with India's increasing prioritization of entrepreneurship as a catalyst for economic development. It not only focuses on starting ventures but also on shaping confident, creative problem-solvers. This partnership is a testament to the commitment of both parties towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education.
The Ignite Bootcamp: RIDE 2025, an entrepreneurship-focused program, is funded by the our website Foundation and will be applied within the academic setting of MIT World Peace University. This bootcamp will equip students with practical skills in finance, business, and entrepreneurship, aiming to foster the growth of 1500 student-led ventures.
