Tech Orda 2025 Application Process Begins for IT Education Beneficiaries
The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry (MCRIAI) of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched the Tech Orda 2025 educational program, accepting applications from aspiring IT professionals. This program, initiated in 2021 and based on Astana Hub, aims to train thousands of specialists annually with state support, focusing on Agile, product management, and artificial intelligence.
To apply, interested individuals must submit an application, complete extended questionnaires, undergo AI-driven analysis, and attend a final jury decision. The application process is open to Kazakhstani citizens aged 18 to 45.
The Tech Orda program offers a wide range of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses, including Cloud & DevOps with AI Tools and Product Management with AI. The former focuses on practical skills in cloud computing, DevOps methodologies, and modern software development practices, while the latter covers AI integration within product management.
The Cloud & DevOps with AI Tools course requires proficiency in English (minimum B2), over three years' experience in a technical role, and expertise in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, or C. The Product Management with AI course is offered in partnership with EPAM Kazakhstan.
The Tech Orda voucher, valued at 400,000 tenge, covers the training costs, with partial funding from partners like EPAM. The program aims to train 20,000 new IT specialists by 2029, providing grant-based education primarily through private tech schools.
The Tech Orda program also offers learning opportunities in operating system development, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, mobile app development, 3D design, AR/VR applications, and GameDev. Accredited IT schools offer 160 courses in various IT fields.
Applications for the Tech Orda 2025 program can be submitted on the Astana Hub platform before September 3, 2025. Interested individuals can find a list of IT schools and courses on the platform.
The Head of State of Kazakhstan has emphasized the importance of training young, educated, and motivated personnel, with a goal of training at least 100,000 IT specialists. The Tech Orda program is a key initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan's MCRIAI, contributing to the country's broader digital transformation strategy.
