Yakutsk Announces Winners of Educational Entrepreneurship Program
On Friday, May 23, the outcomes of the five-day educational program "My Own Business|14" were disclosed in Yakutsk. The project invited 20 participants of the Special Military Operation (SWO) and their family members to participate in lectures and practical workshops, focusing on business idea development and entrepreneurial skills.
A participant in the SWO and a history and social studies teacher at School No.26, Ayal Mohnachevsky, received a grant of 200,000 rubles for his tutoring service project aimed at schoolchildren. He was one of the contestants who presented his business idea to an expert jury.
Mohnachevsky expressed his gratitude for joining the program at the last minute. The project allowed him to gather essential information to kickstart his entrepreneurial journey. Participants showcased their business ideas in sectors such as services, tourism, production, and trade to experts on the day.
Three projects were endorsed by the regional public organization "Dalnoboyщиki Yakutii".These recipients included Innokenty Kolodeznikov for his handmade chocolate shop "Ieii", Aleksey Ptitsyn for his tire fitting service "Shinka", and Aleksandr Gerasimov for Passenger transportation organization.
A grant of 100,000 rubles was also awarded to Yekaterina Perevalova, a Yakutsk resident, for her project focused on producing eco-friendly napkins.
Special acknowledgements were given by regional business communities like "Opora Rossii", "Made in Yakutia", and Nyurguna Petrova, the founder of the "Kraft" creativity studio.
Furthermore, five project participants received half-year individual mentorship, including Maxim Karbushev, first deputy minister of entrepreneurship, trade, and tourism, and Petr Maximov, the general director of the Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurship, among others.
These educational programs often aim to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge required to establish and manage a successful business. They cover topics such as business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship skills. Support given usually includes business planning tools, mentorship, financial literacy, networking opportunities, skill development, access to resources, and ongoing support through alumni networks or follow-up sessions.
